Netaji's Birthday(23rd January),Birthday Of  Rabindranath Tagore (9th May),Independence Day (15th August) and Christmas Day (25th December) fall on 4th Saturday and Sunday. As such, these days have not been included in the list of Holiday.

  • The holiday on 9th May (Birthday of Rabindranath Tagore) & 15th August (Independence Day) fall on Sunday during the Calendar Year 2021 and hence have not been included in the Holiday list.
  • In view of COVID – 19 pandemic situation, there will be no Summer Vacation during the Calendar year- 2021 to compensate the loss of Academic activities. In lieu of this, ½ day Earned Leave (E.L) will be given for each working day falls during the period w.e.f. 17th May to 7th June,2021. This is applicable for this year only.
  • In addition to 36 holidays, holidays for 02 days in case of Natural Calamity/bad weather        or extreme unavoidable circumstances may be declared by the HMs with intimation to the concerned District Education Officers/Inspector of Schools.
